The Aspen Animal Shelter Pet Calendar is full of enticing photos and valuable information about Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter. From sponsoring a page and featuring your pet to purchasing a calendar and using it as a daily planner, the Aspen Animal Shelter Pet Calendar is a fun way for donors to support our nonprofit.  Additionally, they make unique gifts and meaningful coffee table books.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Annie and Jerry Hosier for sponsoring the 2019 Aspen Animal Shelter Pet Calendar by purchasing the cover!

The Hosiers met Skyler at three weeks old. The only girl, and half the size of her five plump brothers, they knew she’d need special attention to develop and grow. The pups were with a young Colorado family in a new home with no trees. The dogs only had corrugated metal for shade.

The Hosiers sent special food and dug up 25 trees from their land. They watered them for weeks while the young family dug holes. The trees were ultimately transported and traded for a beautiful little puppy whom no one initially wanted. Skyler Hosier is now healthy and a great companion who brings them joy and laughter every day with her silly antics and overflowing love.

The new “forest” survived and has provided shade for Skyler’s dog-mom and others for more than six years.
